Landis Green Legacy Fountain Sculptures
Located in the heart of Florida State University, Edward Jonas used classical proportions as well as historical architectural features to design and create the Landis Green Legacy Fountain project. Featuring six life-size bronze figures – three representing the era when the university was the Florida State College for Women (FSC) and three depicting present day life on the FSU campus – are displayed in historically accurate clothing and hairstyles. The modern sculptures also reflect the diversity that exists on the FSU campus today. Each figure is set in the new fountain plaza, designed by Edward Jonas and located at the center of Landis Green.
